Guided Sea Kayaking Tour

 

On the outward tide meandering through the hinterland of Jervis Bay, Currambene Creek grants the Sea Kayaker the opportunity to observe wetland birds in pristine habitat. Flocks of Ibis, Sea Eagles, White faced Herons (Blue Cranes), Eagrets, Spoonbills and Pied Cormorants are regulars on this trip. Passing by Myola, (a quiet little village separated from Huskisson by the Creek), Woollamia and Huskisson Wharf, you will leave the River and enter the contrasting expanse of Jervis Bay with its blue water and white sands. Our trip becomes one of wide open spaces and the perfect beaches of Huskisson and Vincentia.Sightings of Bottlenose Dolphins and Giant Rays are common on this Guided Sea Kayaking Trip.

Please Note : This Guided Trip is often run in the opposite direction to take advantage of forecast wind and tide conditions. Your Professional Sea Kayaking Guide will advise you of these conditions at the start of your day.

Two relaxed Kayaking Sessions of approximately 1.25 hours with a well deserved rest break on a magnificent beach allowing time for a swim and morning tea served up with plunger coffee, freshly baked cake and fresh cut fruit.

Just sit back with friends, throw a Frisbee around on the beach, or take a swim or a snorkel if that’s what you desire. This is a superb social outing and an activity that will become a regular component of your Jervis Bay Marine Park visit.
